Ada's father is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known about this man's life prior to or as the outbreak began aside from the fact that he had a daughter.
Post-Apocalypse[]
This man and his daughter Ada are two of the survivors of the Nuking of Texas by Teddy Maddox and the Doomsday Cult. In an attempt to survive, the two interview to enter the Tower, but they are rejected by the tyrannical leader Victor Strand. The two are left in a dire situation, unable to find food or water that isn't contaminated by radiation or shelter when the winds bring the bad air in.
Eventually, Ada and her father recieve a message on the radio from Alicia Clark calling survivors to come to the Tower and help her to build it into something better. However, when they and dozens of other people arrive, they find the Tower on fire, having been destroyed during the final battle for control of it. When all hope is lost, Alicia arrives and goes back into the Tower, draining fuel from the basement generators which she uses to drive everyone out of the wasteland and away from the deadly radiation that was slowly killing them in the SWAT van.
A few months later, Ada's father succumbs to his radiation exposure and dies.
Season 8[]
"Keeping Her Alive"[]
After rescuing Victor Strand from a herd 7 years after escaping from Texas, Ada tells Strand her story and about what he did to her and her father. Now remorseful for his actions as the leader of the Tower, Strand apologizes to Ada for causing her father's death and is surprised that she had rescued him after what Strand did to her.
