On Tuesday, there are concerns from some the walkers about encountering "normos" on their walk, as they remember last year's debacle, when some participants stopped to snack on a family and barely made it to the finish. On Wednesday, while training, he worries about his ankle, as the flesh is long gone and the bone is brittle. On Thursday, Al decides to join because Sally is coming. On Friday, the day of the big event, this walker, Al, and Sally are walking through the countryside, when a car driven by Carl Grimes comes racing down and hits all of them, killing Al in the process.
