Dr. Alex Valenzuela[1] is a character in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is a doctor at Temple Community Hospital.

Nothing is known about Alex's life before the apocalypse, except that he was a doctor who worked at Temple Community Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Alex treats Nick Clark after he was hit by a car while running across the road. He then informs Nick's mother, mother's boyfriend, and sister of Nick's situation.
As the city of Los Angeles fell to the undead, his fate remains unclear. It is unknown whether he was able to survive the outbreak or was killed and/or later reanimated.

- While initially not having an official name, Lak Rana confirmed that he named his character Prakash. He also mentioned that he speculated that his character was bitten and subsequently turned into a walker.
- His name was later revealed to be Alex Valenzuela though an official prop.[1]
