I don't know! Okay, they want this place to change and that can't happen with Strand!
―Ali to Howard after his betrayal.[src]

Ali is a former antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is a resident of Strand's Tower, training to be one of the Tower's Rangers.

Overview[]

Ali is a good-hearted and brave young man. At first, he is eager to prove himself and become a ranger at Strand's Tower. He is sent on a mission with Charlie and the two form a friendship. However, when Ali finds out Charlie was sent by Morgan, Ali chooses his loyalty to the tower over her at first and leaves her to be eaten by walkers. Ali is about to leave Charlie when he becomes conflicted with his choice. He decides to go back and save Charlie, with his good-nature ultimately coming through. After this, his relationship with Charlie becomes romantic. Ali then betrays the tower and attempts to turn off the beacon, which ultimately costs him his life when Howard throws him off the tower.
