Nothing is known about Alice's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Sometime after the outbreak, Alice ends up living at the Sanctuary with her family or guardian, who was either a Savior or a worker. She loses her family in the war and becomes an orphan. After the war ends, Alice remains living at the Sanctuary. When the community eventually fails, she is adopted by Frankie and they are among the former Sanctuary residents to move into Alexandria.
Alice is among the Alexandrian children to enjoy the bonfire with Winnie, Linus, P.J., and the other kids from Jocelyn's group. She attends a sleepover at the house Jocelyn and her kids are staying at when in the middle of the night, they all leave Alexandria under the guise of playing a game. In reality, Alice and the other Alexandrian children, including Judith and Marcus, were kidnapped. They were brought to a school that Jocelyn's group was staying at when Michonne and Daryl were captured. After they broke free from their binds, they attempt to rescue the children, but Jocelyn's group members usher the Alexandrian children into a trailer, with Mitchell ordering Winnie to kill them all. Fortunately, none of the Alexandrian kids were hurt and they were brought safely back to Alexandria. Upon arriving home, Alice is hugged by her mother.
Alice and her mother attend the fair at the Kingdom and listen to King Ezekiel's speech as he officially kicks off the fair. Alice enjoys a candy apple at the fair and explores what it has to offer and walks around with several young women. Later, as Alice and Frankie enjoy the fair, they ask Henry if he is okay after they observe him looking concerned. Later in the day, Frankie goes missing and she and Eugene ask Nabila regarding her mother's whereabouts. Afterwards, she watches the movie with all the other attendees. She is later horrified and saddened when it is revealed her mother is among the victims kidnapped and murdered by the Whisperers and listens to Siddiq's story about the bravery of the victims.
This list shows the victims Alice has killed:
- Possibly several zombies
- While her name has not been mentioned in dialogue nor has the character been credited, the name Alice comes from the scripts for "Scars".
- With the deaths of Henry, Addy, and Rodney in "The Calm Before", Alice is now one of only four surviving, named teenage characters; the others being Lydia, Rachel Ward, and Gage.
