Alonso Herrera is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is a resident of La Colonia, alongside his daughter.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Tijuana, Baja California[]

Nothing is known about Alonso's life before the outbreak, except that he was born in 1982, lived in Tijuana, Baja California with his daughter, and worked as a freelance carpenter.

Post-Apocalypse[]

Season 2[]

"Los Muertos"[]

Alonso, having been bitten, was selected to sacrifice himself to the herd of undead surrounding the communities edge. Despite being bitten, the community was led to believe that some individuals are immune to bites, as Alejandro Nuñez, the community's leader, had led them to believe after himself allegedly surviving a bite. As Alonso sacrifices himself to the walkers, the community - including his daughter - watch, hoping that he too, is immune to the bites. Luciana and Alejandro say their goodbyes, watching as Alonso unsuccessfully walks into the herd, allowing himself to be devoured by the undead. Despite being likely, it is unknown whether or not he reanimated.
