Andy is a character and an antagonist first encountered in Issue 43 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a Woodbury soldier and the second casualty of the prison assault.

Nothing is known about Andy's life prior to or as the outbreak began. He may have lived in or near Woodbury before the outbreak.

Made To Suffer
Arlo first appears during a flashback in Issue 43 standing alongside his fellow Woodbury Army soldiers before riding to the prison's gates. During the assault on the prison, Andrea decides to pick off soldiers from the tower and shoots Andy through the neck. The soldiers notice and the Governor points out her position in the tower.

Trivia
- In the novel series it states that Andy is the second victim of the assault. However the circumstances surrounding his death differ to the comic, as in the novel, he's shot in the head and in the comic Andy is shot through the neck.
- This is likely an error or oversight.
- It's also worth noting that the first death in the comic and novel, Arlo's death, is also reversed. Dying from a neck shot in the novel and a headshot in the comic. It's possible that Andy is actually the first death in the comic, however Arlo's description only matches up with that character and not the second.
