Ava is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is a newcomer to the Rosarito Beach Hotel community.

Nothing is known about Ava's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except she had a mother, husband, and was pregnant.
Post-Apocalypse[]

"The New Frontier"[]
Ava is among the dozens of refugees to arrive at the Rosarito Beach Hotel begging to be let in. After her mother pleads for her daughter to be let in, due to her pregnancy, Strand arrives and announces to everyone that they will be taken care of. The next morning, Ava is going into labor and while Strand initially refuses, he helps deliver Ava's baby, in which she names Victor, after Strand.
"Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame"[]
It is unknown what happened to this refugee after the Rosarito Beach Hotel was overrun, as the front gates were found breached and the hotel grounds filled with blood and the undead. While the fate of Ava remains unknown, it is possible she was able to escape, make it to a higher floor, or was killed.

- Ava is the second pregnant survivor encountered in Fear The Walking Dead, the first being Vida.
- Ava is also one of the thirteen characters in the TV universe to be pregnant during the events of the apocalypse. The others being Lori Grimes, Maggie Rhee, Eileen, Vida, Michonne Grimes, Rosita Espinosa, Nabila, Grace Mukherjee, Rachel, an unnamed Sanctuary Worker, an unnamed Kingdommer, and Jane Carroll.
