The following is a list of all the different extras who represented the unnamed survivors who lived within the prison community. As of "Inmates", all background survivors at the prison are declared dead. If their death was not mentioned or shown on-screen, then it is rightfully assumed that they perished as a result from the flu or died during the prison attack. The page is divided into two sections, one for prison newcomers and the other for Woodbury refugees.

Additionally, he and fellow prison extra Deanna Dixon created a backstory that he and her character, Woodbury refugee Natalie, were siblings from Woodbury.
  • Actor Taylor McPherson mentioned that he was in the first two episodes of Season 4, with his death being in "Infected", having died in the cell block attack, though he confirmed his body was not shown. With ten of the victims identifiable, and the eleventh being the child of the Crying Mom, that leaves Thomas as the unseen victim that Rick puts down in his cell.
  • There is a filming blooper in which during the very first scene in "Isolation", Thomas can be seen digging graves with Glenn, Maggie, and other survivors for the deceased residents from Cell Block D. However, Thomas was killed in the cell block attack. During production, it is not uncommon for certain scenes to be filmed out of episodic order, and Thomas' presence in the prison yard is likely an oversight by the production staff.

  • "30 Days Without An Accident" - Seen walking with a young girl in the prison yard.
  • "Infected" - At some point during the night, he is attacked and killed by one of the zombified prison residents. He is then stabbed by Rick in his upstairs prison cell.
