Barry Gooden is a character from The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Peachtree City, Georgia[]
Nothing is known about Gooden's life before or as the outbreak began, except that he was a meteorologist working for the National Weather Service out of Peachtree City.
Post-Apocalypse[]
After the outbreak began, Gooden survived in the National Weather Service station with some survivors. Still limping along on generators and shortwave radios to broadcast as many frequencies as they could spark, very few listeners benefited from the news. He forecasts a major storm that occurs near the end of The Road to Woodbury. The effects of this storm unleash a large horde of zombies, which serve to thwart the attempted overthrow of Brian Blake by Lilly and Martinez.
