Ben Buchholz is a character first encountered in Issue 31 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a resident of Woodbury.

This Sorrowful Life
Ben watches the arena fight between Eugene Cooney and Michonne Hawthorne and is one of the many horrified and disgusted by the massacre.
Made To Suffer
During a flashback in Issue 43, Ben is among the crowd in the Woodbury arena whilst the Governor is making his first appearance to the town after his torture and mutilation at the hands of Michonne. He is shocked at the site of Martínez's severed head.
Ben takes part in the prison assault. He survives the first attack and retreats along with the rest of the militia. After Gabe and Raymond's group capture Tyreese, Ben is seen at the camp eating from a can.
After Lilly Caul shoots the Governor and the prison is overrun. Ben is one of only seven militia members to survive and retreat inside the prison.

Trivia
- Ben is one of six Woodburians to survive the prison assault along with Lilly Caul, Hap Abernathy, Matthew Hennesey, Gloria Pyne and Speed Wilkins.
