Bernie is a survivor of the outbreak in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a member of a small group of six people led by Magna trying to survive in the Washington, D.C. area.

A New Beginning[]
Bernie was a part of Magna's group of survivors travelling through the D.C. area. When Paul Monroe, along with the rest of the Alexandria herd-crew are steering a herd away from the Kingdom, they come across his group. The herd began to surround the group and, despite Jesus' best efforts, Bernie was unable to escape the large group of zombies that surrounded them.
