Bernie is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a member of Magna's group.

At some point in the apocalypse, Bernie encountered Magna's group and joined them.

A massive herd attacks Magna's group. Later, Michonne realizes that it's the same herd that destroyed Magna's rig when she spots Bernie amongst them, ripped apart and wearing the same shirt he had on in the story the group had earlier told the Alexandrians.

As an undead Bernie approaches his former friends, who are stunned and saddened to see him, Michonne mercifully drives the tip of her katana through the back of his head, putting him down.
