Look, fuck-face. I had an eight year old boy, a six year old girl and an ex-wife that couldn't stand me but truth be told, I still kind of loved her. Fucked up as it was--I had a family. Now I don't.
―Abraham to Dale about his ex-wife, daughter, and son.[src]

Beth Ford is a character first mentioned in Issue 54 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. She is the wife of Abraham Ford and the mother of her children.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Location Unknown[]

Very little is known about Beth prior to or as the outbreak began, only that she was married to Abraham Ford. Beth was also a mother and had one son and one daughter.

Post-Apocalypse[]

Unnamed Grocery Store[]

Nothing much is known about Beth except that she had a son and daughter. She was with Abraham and their family during the beginning of the apocalypse. They were taking refuge in a grocery store with other survivors. One day, after Abraham took a few guys out to loot the nearby depot, she and her daughter were raped. After the news reached Abraham, he found and killed the rapists. Beth became scared of Abraham's actions, and took her children and ran. She was later found by Abraham, devoured enough by walkers to not be able to reanimate. She was specially named by Abraham, when he mentions her name to Rosita Espinosa.

Death[]

Killed By
  • Abraham Ford (Indirectly Caused)
  • Herself (Indirectly Caused)

After Abraham killed a group of men that raped her and their daughter, Beth was so terrified of him that she took the children and ran from him.

Beth was completely devoured by walkers.

Killed Victims[]

This list shows the victims Beth has killed:

  • Herself (Indirectly Caused)
  • Her son (Indirectly Caused)
  • Her daughter (Indirectly Caused)
  • Possibly numerous counts of zombies

Relationships[]

Abraham Ford[]

Beth and Abraham presumably had a strained relationship given that they got a divorce before the apocalypse. Despite that, Abraham still loved her. When he found out Beth was raped along with their daughter, Abraham was so enraged he killed the culprits with his bare hands. This caused Beth to become terrified of Abraham, so much so that she fled from him that night along with their children. This resulted in Beth's death, as well as the deaths of their children. Abraham would forever be haunted by this event.
