Bethany Dupree is a survivor of the zombie apocalypse first appearing in The Walking Dead: The Fall of the Governor. She is a twelve-year-old girl with an old-soul face hardened with stress and contrasted by profusion of freckles.

Bethany was born in 1994 or 1995. Almost nothing is known about Bethany's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she had a father, Calvin, a mother, Meredith, and two brothers named Lucas and Thomas.

After her brother Tommy kills Spencer-Lee Dryden, he falls into the pit with the rest of the people of Woodbury and reanimates, biting Lilly's leg. In the fight that follows, Bethany manages to grab a machete and she uses it to put the zombified Spencer-Lee down. However, Tommy was bitten before the rescue, and he dies shortly thereafter.
