Big Tony's Express Mart is a gas station owned by "Big" Tony first appeared in "Indifference" of AMC's The Walking Dead.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known of this location's history before the outbreak.

Post-Apocalypse[]

During the onset of the outbreak, Tony and his three co-workers made a suicide pact. After killing themselves by drinking antifreeze, they all reanimated, but first tied the door shut. Over time, the exterior became overgrown with vines, the garage's roof partially caved in and a tree fell on it.

Season 4[]

"Indifference"[]

A group consisting of Daryl, Tyreese, Michonne, and Bob arrives at the express mart. They try to start up a car that is nearby, but it fails due to the battery being dead. As Tyreese tries to get inside, he inadvertently releases the zombified employees who attack the group before being put down by Daryl, Michonne and Bob. Inside, Daryl and Bob find the empty antifreeze container and puke on the floor and realize that the employees had committed suicide. Although Daryl is disgusted by their actions, Bob defends them as having wanted to go out as they lived: together. Bob finds Tony's reanimated corpse buried in the debris and a picture of the employees together in happier times. Sympathetic, Bob grabs a screwdriver that was being used as a keychain and puts Tony down. Getting the battery alongside some supplies, Daryl and Bob leave the gas station. After fixing the van, the group drives off.
