Let's say Fear The Walking Dead is the first companion series and both show The Walking Dead and Fear are both 2 popular AMC shows and AMC decides to renew the series license when the regular series ends AMC has another series call Rise Of The Walking Dead and it takes place in
Louisiana. It will be cool to see walkers crawling up from the swamp. Now the far as the protagonist we can't have a Rick Grimes clone let's say his name is Sam, before the apocalypse happened Sam's occupation was a medical examiner and not that the zombie apocalypse starts to occur he has to to what he has to do in order to take care and make sure his family is safe. Let's say Tory Kittles will protray the role of Sam. Why not right Madison is the female Rick Grimes in Fear so let's have a black Rick Grimes I mean it's 2017 right ? That was just what I had in mind for a third Walking Dead series and as the show continues we'll get a big bad let's say Season 2, or more than likely Season 3 Now the villians have to have a different motive they can't be a clone of The governor,or Gareth from Terminus, or not even Negan. The Villian has to be far from differnt as well. They can also travel to let's say New York or another setting to survive on like The Walking Dead and Fear all the characters have to travel to one place to another kind of like refuge sort of thing like back in season 4 Rick and the survivors found The Sanctuary after the prison was destroyed, and now it's the Hilltop same with Fear first after they traveled from LA then they wen't to Mexico. So they can do some thing like Sam and his family came fromLouisianna and the safest place is let's say Chicago and they have to find the safest place and gather enough food and water and so in order to survive.
This is just a hypothetically question and theory if you like this theory I for one am a fanatic of The Walking Dead and I'll never get sick or bored of The Walking Dead I wouldn't at all mind a second companion series with TWD so as a fan would you tune in for a series like this if AMC hypothetically happens to get another Walking Dead series?
I love to hear other fans thoughts.
I'd watch so long as it's not in Louisana it has to be in Washinngton, Oregon, or even Massachusetts
You should read my pitch it might be of interest to you.
I'm more than interesting after finding out the casting and characters. Just one more question have you have any Villians Big-bads in mind like The Governor or Negan or The Whispers?
The first villain I have is a guy named Tobias Holt he's a leader of a motorcycle gang who joins the group but is a driving point to show how you can't trust everyone.
The second villain I have would be Lance who after seeing how Chris and Frank are pointing the group in potential danger enacts a coup to try and overthrow and kill all the loyalists that side with Chris, Frank and another character that would be introduced in season 2 named Roger.
Season 3 would find the survivors in a military base possibly West Point. A minor villain would be one of the surviving soldiers who doesn't trust or think the group is value to them. However the big bad of season 3 would be a man named Alvin West. (Name may change due to the fact that I just realized it sounds similar to the actor Adam west.) West would be the leader of a camps makeshift militia hunting down former members of his camp. The former members who I refer to as the rebels end up crossing paths with and joining Chris after they rescued a couple members of Chris's group who were separated when the last camp got destroyed by lance's failed coup. West is a serial killer who escaped prison at the onset of the outbreak and now can kill in a law free world. West also brands the people he kills. The rebels didn't like the way their former camp was run so they planned to kill all the leaders (with a Bomb), but the plan failed and killed the leaders wife.
Season 4 would start with the survivors joining a group of church survivors. However after realizing that the survors are being forced to to hand over survivors to another group Chris helps rescue both his people and the church survivors. The villain would be a man named Deacon Price the former secretary of the DOD who blames himself for the fall of the U.s.A and has become obsessed with finding a cure after losing his wife to the dead and that his son has a terminal illness and will die soon. He kidnaps survors and demands the church survivors offer him their people so he can run tests to find a cure. (Remember no cure) At the same time one of the church survivors believes that the apocalypse is the act of God and secretly plans to deliver all the survivors to God since they believe the apocalypse is the rapture.
These would be the first set of antagonists in the first 4 seasons. This is the stage I refer to as the beginning of the apocalypse. After this there is a couple year timeskip were the world and the villains get bigger and have more elaborate plans. If you want to know more about them ask and you shall receive.
Dude that's dope as hell !!!!
OMG I so want to get into you story even if you happen to make it as a fan series on the wiki page all these ideas you have for you is amazing !! I mean really, as for the idea for the villian to be a secretary and him cracking up that is just genius and that idea devates this villain from a clone of The governor. I love that ! Also Alvin West's character too ! If a third series happen with TWD I would seriously want this type of villian to be on the show. I mean that is just totally unique !
Thanks I was afraid West would be seen as too similar to the governor I'm glad to hear that you think West is a unique character.
Even though the aspect of him is some what simialar that would still work like it can be like an Army or some king of veitrian war people who can be the governor type and Alvin's character still devates himself from a The governor clone sort of speak. I was also thinking you can add another antagonist in Season 5 of your story and they are called the Flesh Corpse. They can somewhat be The Hunters/Terminus and also The Whispers type group for your story and this guy name Keith Abernathy who eats people and human flesh and The Flesh Corpse also wears a human face flesh and Keith has a chainsaw kind of like Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre within the apocalypse. Keith tells Chris as Chris is killing him while wearing maybe to make you story more epic you can have Keith kill off one of the female survivors of Chris group and Chris hunts for revenge and survival. But as for my pitch before Chris takes action on to kill Keith he tells Chris "You have no idea what it's like to be hungry with no food and survival and how it feels like to be damned. I was about to kidnap one of your kids as well and maybe how about your daughter, Your Daughter seems to have pretty tainted meat. Chris says "Okay you sick Bastard" as he took out this meat cleaver on the kitchen counter wear Keith chops off his victims limbs. The Keith add "Oh you know I was wondering what would've taste like eating your sons liver with onions.Chris replies "Eat this you sick fuck !" and he decapitates Keith's head and stomps his head with anger. Chirs and survivors are continuing off to survive. Then in the mean time we can figure out what's next for Season 6. In fact you can have that as the cliffhanger ending for Season 5 and figure out where can we go from there on to Season 6.
Thanks and I like your pitch idea howev I fear it'd be looked at as too close to the hunters/terminus. Also at that point there is already a character named Keith Baker who was introduced in season 3 as a member of the rebels.
Season 5 would begin 5-6 years after season 4 and introduce Chris and the survivors to a larger world. The big bad of the season would be the Ramos Republic a militia/mini nation. Republic is led by commander Ramos I can't reveal a lot about the commander because there is a big misled about who the commander is. The commander and their top lieutenants are the big bad of the season and eventually lead to the next big bad of season 6.
Cool that's even better !! That will really devate the story from the original series. Even though adding the TCM aspect on the villian it's still similiar to The Hunters/Terminus like you said. A Militia/mini nation aspect would be perfect. That makes this villian more unique and that dosen't make the story as a clone TWD series.
Thanks the Ramos Republic is also only one of six nations. The others would be the Florida Federation also known as the southern raiders led by a chancellor. The Ohio union led by a president very similar to the former U.S. The Republic of Texas led by a General. The Nafive Tribunal Lands led by a native chief. Finally the The Oregon commonwealth led by a governor.
At the end of season 5 Chris and the commander would find themselves facing the same enemy in the Florida federation. This leads Chris to form an uneasy alliance with Ramos and join the Republic to battle the federation in a large scale war along the southeastern coast of the U.S.A.
I know at this point it's sounding less like a zombie show, but trust me they are still a threat. At this point they would have become a manageable threat, but still hold a threat in the way the nations use them against enemies plus in everyday survival.
