I am SO glad they didn't kill her, but it also made no sense. Clementine's skin was turning gray, I think at that point she was too far gone. Also how the fuck did AJ and Clem escape the barn when Clem had one leg?
According to Michael Kirkbride, he covered them both in guts and then used a wheelbarrow. But yerah, it was still bullshit.

Blood loss is what made her go pale, also if you pay attention to Clem “turning” its pretty clear she isn’t really, since unlike other people who turned, she showed no symptoms:
1. Minus her leg injury, she was still able to move quite a bit, looking at Lee for example after his fight with the Stranger and when he woke up in the jewlery store, he was barely able to move without some help.
2. Her skin was going whiter, but people who were turning like Lee and Pete turned a bluish/green color in their final moments.
3. She didn’t show any signs of being “sick”, she was still talking fine and wasn’t coughing or anything like that.
Hell, I’m sure Clem herself just figured she was dying and was willing to accept death, but didn’t consider the other factors in the situation since there was all the walkers outside James’ shed.
I was very surprised that she had survived considering Lee can get his arm cut off sooner than she had her leg cut off. Hell you could already see the life draining from her eyes, whereas Lee was still looking healthy. I thought it was too late.
What? Lee didn't cut off his arm sooner! not only he had to travel a much larger distance, but he passed out 2 times!
This was wrote by one of the writers of the game:
Due to that Clem's injury leg, it has a bite, but the the cut was rlly open, so I guess that the infection was not enough bc the wound is open

If you had paid attention to the time of day, then you would realise that Lee got bit and had his arm amputated during the day time. Clementine on the other hand, got bitten at night time, and then got her leg cut off during the day time. And you have no evidence to provide how far one another travelled in comparison to the other, only the time of the day can really give us an idea to pinpoint how far they had to travel, which logically makes sense that Lee travelled a shorter distance than Clem before getting his arm cut off as it all transpired during the day time. Plus, if Lee had his arm cut off later than Clem had her leg cut off, then how do you explain that Lee is still healthy looking in comparison to Clem whose skin was already turning pale from the affects of the bite, whereas it took Lee to get to the rooftops before his skin started to pale up? And if you had actually paid attention to both outcomes, you'd realise that if Lee cuts his arm off, the scenes where he is supposed to pass out, do not happen.
