Nothing is known about Brian's life prior to or as the outbreak began.
Post Apocalypse
The Whisperer War
Brian runs yelling to William. He mentions that Martin while returning from patrol saw a herd, followed it as he didn't know if it was the Whisperers or not and discovers the Hilltop under attack. William tells Brian to gather up everyone he can.
After Issue 162 his fate is left unknown. It is assumed he is still residing in the Kingdom.

- When Brian was initially introduced in Issue 161 he was referred to as Taylor but later in Issue 162, the name Taylor was changed to Brian.
- This was due to him initially sharing the same name as another minor character from the Kingdom.
