C.J. (full name unknown) is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Althea Tapes. She is one of the many survivors encountered and interviewed by Althea.
Overview[]
C.J. is kind, light-hearted, and grateful woman. At some point during outbreak, C.J. was in a very dark spot and almost crossed the line between right and wrong. Earl reasons that she did what she had to do to survive, but C.J. is astonished by how it just came to her so naturally. After meeting Earl, the two looked after each other and always have each other's backs. C.J. is shown to be grateful to Earl, complimenting him many times throughout the interview, calling him her ride or die.

C.J. was raised by her negligent father and never knew her mother. At 16, she ran away from home and resided in a tent city under interstate 30 which runs from Little Rock, AR to Fort Worth, TX.

After their interview with Althea, C.J. and Earl began to venture back to a former tent city to search for a box containing C.J.'s inherited pearl necklace that she had previously buried.
