Calvin Dupree, also called Cal, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak featured in The Walking Dead: The Fall of the Governor. He is described to be emaciated, lifelong Baptist and the head of his family.

Pre-Apocalypse

Kentucky

Almost nothing is known about Calvin's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was born and raised in a town in Kentucky and had a wife, Meredith, and two sons named Lucas and Tommy and a daughter named Bethany.

Post-Apocalypse

After taking leadership of the town of Woodbury, Georgia following the death of its previous leaderLilly Caul begins welcoming refugees into the town, including the Duprees. Later on, Calvin and Meredith argue about staying in Woodbury.

After the death of his wife, Calvin and Lilly become lovers, his family and Lilly become very close, the sense of having a normal family life eventually makes Lilly decides to give up most of town leadership to Jeremiah Garlitz, with devastating consequence for the town. Calvin soon turned into an deeply religious man, and he believes now, he is living in at the end of the time, and God's judgement day is coming close, Jeremiah convinces him to join his mass suicide pact so that he could be accepted into Heaven. When Lilly and Bob Stookey find Jeremiah's plot in the last minute and try to stop it, Calvin confronts them, when he is about to kill Lilly, his son Thomas shoots him in the head, killing him.
