Dr. Cara Leone is a character first mentioned in The Walking Dead: The Fall of the Governor. She was a doctor at the Marietta mental health clinic and helped Lilly Caul with her panic attacks. She is described as "a kindly, middle-aged woman".
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Marietta, Georgia[]
Not much is known about Cara except the fact that she was a therapist who helped Lilly Caul work on her panic attacks. Cara preferred to talk therapy to medication and devoted a lot of time to parsing the reasons for Lilly’s racing thoughts. Partly hormonal, partly growing pangs, partly neurochemical, and partly grief over her mother’s lost battle with breast cancer. Thanks to Cara's help, Lilly either outgrew these intrusive thoughts or worked her way through them.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Location Unknown[]
Since the beginning of the outbreak, Cara's status is unknown.
The Fall of the Governor - Part Two[]
Lilly remembers how Cara helped her get over her panic attacks years prior to the outbreak as she is driving one of the National Guard M35 cargo trucks towards the prison assault. Her panic attacks suddenly come back in that moment.
Relationships[]
Lilly Caul[]
Cara and Lilly's relationship was positive as Cara successfully helped Lilly recover from her panic attacks through therapy. Lilly remembers her as a kindly middle-aged woman.
