Shane's Story - The Plan

Shane observes Rick sleeping with Lori and Carl and starts to get jealous. He also thinks that he should've been shot instead of Rick so that he wouldn't be in this tough situation. Shane wants to ask Rick about a possible run they should do since Glenn just found out about a nearby gun store. While observing Rick, he does consider killing him, but decides against it before heading off into the woods to kill zombies.

Gabriel's Story - Desperate Repentance

Gabriel is hiding inside his church some time after he encountered Rick and Carl, both of who have taught him how to defend himself. He wonders if he should've gone with them.

Carl's Story - New Toy

Eugene and Abraham approach Carl as Eugene had made him a new gun. Carl is initially not impressed with the gun given that it looks like a regular toy gun; however after testing it out, he is very surprised by what it's able to do and thanks Eugene for making him the new gun.

Leader Rick & Carl Grimes' Story - Special Meaning

Rick and Carl are chasing after a stag that somehow got Carl's hat. They reach up to the stag who's stuck in a trap and Rick kills it. Initially, they can't find the hat and are soon surrounded by Zombies. Carl sees the hat on a Zombie and accidently shoots the hat and dents the badge. Rick then finds Carl's actual hat nearby, revealing that the hat Carl shot was just a similar hat. They both then go back home.

Protector Carl's Story - A New World

Sophia and Carl argue over the fact that Andrea had recently found her grandfather's gun. He tells Sophia about how he remembers being confronted by Jud and his group, and how he was more scared of his father than the people who attacked him and that he finally understands where his dad was coming from during that time. He also reminds Sophia that they should be thankful that they are arguing over the fact that Andrea grabbed a gun versus the fact that she needs to use a gun.
