Chloé Aktas is an Academy Award Nominated filmmaker and a graduate from the Kanbar Film and Television Institute at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2016 Chloé's short film Mutt was a finalist for the 43rd Student Academy Awards. Out of over 1600 submissions, Mutt was chosen as one of seven finalists in the narrative category. In 2014, Chloé’s film Fish Hook and Eye won two Tisch film festivals: she won 1st place in the "New Visions and Voices" festival and Viewers Choice Award for the "Fusion Film Festival" which celebrates women in film and new media. In addition, Chloé’s latest film Mutt has won a post-production grant from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Further, from 2014-2015 Chloe interned at Protozoa Pictures, Darren Aronofsky's production company. In addition to her film training, Chloe has received conservatory acting training from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
