Clementine's Hatchet is a hatchet used as a weapon by Clementine in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series.

Post-Apocalypse[]

During the escape from Howe's Hardware, a hatchet is given to Clementine as a weapon. Clementine almost immediately uses it to put down a walker and then cut it open in order to smear herself and Sarah in walker guts for their escape. When Sarita gets bitten, Clementine has the option of putting down the attacking walker or chopping off Sarita's arm in a failed attempt to save her. In the latter case, Clementine can use her hatchet to put down the reanimating Sarita in order to save Kenny.

Clementine continues to use her hatchet as she and Jane search for the rest of the Cabin Group. If Nick was saved in "A House Divided", the two will find him as a walker stuck in a fence and Clementine uses her hatchet to put her friend down. Jane notes that Clementine's hatchet gets stuck too easily and provides the girl with an awl to use instead. Although Clementine primarily switches to the awl, she continues to hang onto her hatchet, using it to collapse the Parker's Run observation deck onto an attacking herd. If Clementine ends up alone with AJ, she uses her hatchet to put down a walker and cut it open so that she can smear herself and the baby in walker guts to pass through a herd.

Years later, Clementine no longer carries either her hatchet or her awl for an unknown reason.
