Cliff is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. Prior to the outbreak, he was a professional wrestler who toured along with his fellow wrestler and wife, Mickey, across the United States. Following the fall of society, Cliff got separated from her and stuck at their old wrestling club surrounded by walkers. Cliff eventually got bit and succumbed to the infection before he was able to find "PADRE" in order to keep his wife safe.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known about Cliff's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he met Mickey and together became known as "The Bride" and "The Groom" in professional wrestling. After touring for a long time, they established the Grapple Chapel Wrestling Club where they would train up and coming wrestlers.

"Till Death"[]
Mickey escapes from Victor Strand's Tower in search of Cliff whom she got separated from after the bombs went off. Dwight and Sherry agree to help Mickey who is trying to return to their wrestling gym, the last place that she knows that Cliff might be.
With the help of Sherry, the walker guts trick and her protective suit, Mickey gets into the gym, but she is dismayed to find no sign of Cliff. As the two women retreat from a herd to the wrestling ring in the middle of the floor, a zombified Cliff wanders into the room, devastating Mickey. As Mickey professes her love for her husband, Sherry puts him down with her knife, knowing that Mickey is unable to.
After the two women and Dwight put down the herd, Dwight takes Cliff's body outside and cleans him up as best as he can so that Mickey can say her goodbyes to her husband. Dwight provides Mickey with a bloodstained letter that he'd found on Cliff who knew that Mickey would come looking for him. In the letter, Cliff says goodbye to Mickey and encourages her to keep living on even without him. Mickey sadly states that they had waited too long to get started and wonders why she and Cliff had thought that the gym had to be perfect before they could do what they wanted to do with the rest of their lives. Mickey becomes determined to find Padre for Cliff and she agrees to join the Dark Horses before going outside to say her goodbyes to Cliff.
Before departing to meet up with the person calling for their help on the radio, Dwight, Sherry, and Mickey presumably bury Cliff's body.

- Cliff is one of four characters on Fear the Walking Dead to have a "celebrity" status prior to the apocalypse. The others are Dante Esquivel, Jim Brauer and his wife Mickey.
- Despite being in the main TV Series, Tyreese Williams, Deanna Monroe, Connie, "Beta", and Pamela Milton also have the "celebrity" status.
- While his bite wound isn't visible, there's a good deal of blood on the right shoulder of his jacket, suggesting that the bite wound is under Cliff's jacket, possibly on his shoulder or neck.
