At some point during the outbreak, this man joined a community in Ohio and was assigned the role of security guard for Pamela Milton at the Commonwealth.

"Lockdown"[]
As Pamela and Yumiko attempt to exit the train station, they are confronted by Mr. and Mrs. Martens and a crowd of angry citizens. When Pamela is unable to reassure the crowd, this security guard steps in to disperse the crowd before Yumiko says a few words to calm everyone down. Afterwards, the security guard and the soldiers on duty instruct the crowd to exit the building. He then escorts Pamela outside into her armored SUV before getting into the front seat and driving the vehicle away from Union Station.

With the city breached and many civilians killed as reported by Colonel Vickers and the screams heard throughout the invasion, this man's fate is left unknown. It is possible he was let into the Estates with the crowd of terrified citizens or was rescued later on elsewhere in the city, or was killed by the undead.
