Upon the convoy's arrival at a worksite not far from Alexandria, this soldier boards a bus full of Commonwealth prisoners and Virginia immigrants, ordering everyone off the bus. Later, he and two other soldiers stand watch at the worksite. Negan approaches the soldier and asks about his wife, but the soldier whacks him in the face with a nightstick. The soldier tells Negan that the prisoners only stop to eat and sleep which Negan acknowledges. He assaults Negan with his rifle and orders him back to work after he asks his wife's whereabouts. When a group of prisoners attempt to escape, they are shot down, and the soldier orders everyone back to work. That night, the soldier yells out orders for everyone to board the buses in preparation for their journey to Outpost 22.
