"Something Bad"[]
This cook is first seen cooking pancakes in the kitchen. Riley stops by the galley to ask the cook if he's seen Pierce, and the cook suggests where Riley can possibly find him. Having heard that Riley has a kid now, the cook jokingly offers to teach him how to make Mickey Mouse pancakes. Calling it very funny, Riley moves on.
"A Good Sailor"[]
As Riley, Pierce, McGuire, and Alvarez are talking, the cook makes an announcement is made over the PA about ice cream sundaes in the cafeteria. As Renwick gives Friedman's eulogy, the cook hears a noise in the freezer and sees that Friedman's body bag has fallen off of the shelf. Cook opens the bag and the zombified Friedman attacks the cook, the fight spilling into the mess hall where Friedman bites the cook in the ear. Bacon and Park grab Friedman off of the cook and shove him up against the wall, causing Friedman's guts to spill out of his still open wound. Bacon and Park are also bitten before Friedman is put down. The cook goes with Bacon and Park to get bandaged up.
Off-screen, Cook succumbs to the infection and reanimates. He is later put down by either a crewmember, Morgan Jones, or Grace Mukherjee.
