|This article is about the bandit killed by Abraham. You may be looking for his TV Series counterpart.|
Craig is a character and an antagonist first encountered in Issue 57 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is the leader of the Marauders. He served as one of the primary antagonists of Volume 10: What We Become (alongside with other Marauders).
Not much is known about Craig's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible that he is related to the other two Marauders, because they share a similar physical appearance.
Craig and two others ambushed the trio of Rick, Carl, and Abraham while the latter group rested on a desolate freeway in the middle of their journey back to Rick's old home town for supplies.
Craig held the awake and armed Abraham hostage by gunpoint before the Jud took Carl out of the car he was resting in, while Andy subdued Rick. Craig threatened to rape the resisting Abraham after they raped Carl and took their equipment, cruelly taunting him to, "wait your turn".
The marauder group, however, did not count on Rick and Abraham as being hardened from their experience in the wasteland, and were caught off-guard in a matter of seconds. Craig was stunned when Rick bit the throat out of one of his comrades. The moment of shock he had from the attack was enough for Abraham to quickly shoot him in the face, killing him instantly.
- Killed By
While distracted after Rick kills Andy, Abraham grabs his machine gun and shots Craig in the head, killing him.
This list shows the victims Craig has killed:
- Possibly numerous counts of zombies and unnamed people
- Craig was one of many characters to have their name confirmed by a source other than the comic itself, others being Charlie, Gavin, Marco, Reggie, Andy, Liam, Carlos, Patrick and Sandra.
- The memory of Jud's rape attempt was later recalled and spoken about by Carl when he witnessed Rick, Andrea, and Michonne killing a similar group of hostile bandits while on the road.
