Dale Horvath is a survivor of the outbreak in GameMill Entertainment's The Walking Dead: Destinies.

Pre-Apocalypse

Georgia

Prior to the outbreak, Dale married a woman named Irma, who developed cancer. Dale bought an RV so they could spend their remaining days together seeing the country. Sadly, Irma would pass away before they could make the trip, so he went on it by himself.

Post-Apocalypse

While on his trip, the outbreak occurred. Dale made his way to Atlanta, where he joined a small camp just outside the city.

"Life Worth Living"

Dale is on watch on top of his RV, when he sees Glenn and Merle/T-Dog return with Rick Grimes, the thought to be dead husband of Lori and father of Carl.

If Merle returns to camp, Dale will confront Merle for abandoning T-Dog.

"Overrun"

A few nights later, the camp becomes overrun with walkers, causing Dale and the rest of the survivors flee to a vehicle jammed roadside.

While escaping from the overrun farm, Hershel trips. Rick stops to help him up, thus being unable to notice a walker which comes behind Dale and bites him on the neck. Dale is then swiftly swarmed by more walkers, which proceed to devour him.
