Daniel Klouse is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in Thomas Dunne Books' The Walking Dead. He is described to be a gnarled, gangly ex-con with tattoo-covered arms.

For unknown reasons, Klouse was imprisoned.
While being imprisoned he used to play chess. One of Klouse's opponents, an unnamed grizzly convict accused for arsonism, told him to always play four steps ahead of the opponent.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Daniel somehow made it to the Spencer-Lee's convoy.
