Daniel Sharman is an English actor who portrayed Troy Otto in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.
Biography
Born in Hackney, London, Daniel Sharman began his acting career when he was 9, performing for the Royal Shakespeare Company, appearing in The Park and Macbeth. Sharman studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting and graduating with honors.
Sharman's debut feature film role was a minor role in The Last Days of Edgar Harding. He later portrayed Ares in Immortals which was released in 2011. Sharman gained fame the following year when he was casted in the television series, Teen Wolf as Isaac Lahey which he would star in until his departure at the end of the third season.
In 2014, Sharman joined The Originals until he joined the Williamstown Theatre Festival for the play Off the Main Road.
On 10 August 2017, it was reported that Sharman had been cast in the lead role in Medici: The Magnificent as Lorenzo de' Medici during its two season run.
In January 2022, it was announced that Sharman had joined the main cast for A Town Called Malice, where he plays Kelly Lord, the middle child of the Lord family.
