Daryl's Group is a group that appears in The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct and AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The group was initially lead by Will Dixon, until his death. Afterwards, his son Daryl took leadership, meeting several survivors and traveling over time until they get to Firesign Stadium.
Thirteen years later, a new incarnation would form with the mission to get Laurent Carriere to the Union of Hope, a journey that Père Jean had intended to take Laurent on before his death. After the group's arrival in Paris and the completion of the first part of the journey, Isabelle and Sylvie chose to remain behind, leaving Daryl and Laurent to complete the group's mission by themselves joined by Azlan. After most of the group's members were captured by the Power of the Living, they were briefly joined by Quinn, Fallou and Emile before Quinn's death and Fallou and Emile going their separate ways.
Upon the group's arrival at the Nest and Daryl's decision to return to America, the group seemingly disbanded. However, Laurent secretly followed Daryl on his journey, and Daryl decided to return to the Nest for the time being until another route home could be found for him.
However, the group was soon reformed as a resistance movement dedicated to protecting Laurent from both the Power of the Living and the Union of Hope after Losang betrayed them and tried to have Daryl killed so that he could no longer interfere in his dangerous plans for Laurent. With the addition of Carol Peletier and Stéphane Codron to the group, the latter of whom had once been the group's enemy, both Genet and Losang were killed, resulting in the Power of the Living falling apart for the most part. Eventually, the group's primary goal was successfully achieved with the escape of Laurent to America in Ash's Plane, leaving him out of the clutches of anyone left in France who might want to exploit the boy for their own purposes.
Subsequently, the remaining group members refocused their mission on finding another way to America, several members going their own way in the process.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Survival Instinct[]
The group was formed when Daryl's family and friend went on a hunting trip in Cabot Ridge. However, while they were hunting, they were attacked by walkers leaving both Will and Buck dead and Jess bit. Daryl and the injured Jess retreated back to their hunting cabin and started gathering the remaining supplies before leaving the area. They headed to Sedalia to gather fuel and other supplies, on the way, they determinately gather survivors, Warren and Jimmy.
They either went to Garwater or Pemberton to find their truck breakdown and forced to find a new vehicle in the area. While Daryl found keys to a new vehicle, Jess succumbed to the infection and had to down by Daryl. The group than proceeded to Fontana to rescue Merle from jail. While in the area, he met two other survivors and optionally recruit Mia. After the rescue, the group went to either Cleburne or Oakview to gather medicine for Merle.

On the way to Paris, the group encounters a herd that spooks Astérix, the group's mule, forcing Daryl to cut him loose to ultimately be devoured by the walkers. Daryl's group is then captured by a group of children living in a school who are being tormented by a survivor who they call La Tarasque and have an ailing teacher. Needing a horse, Daryl agrees to help Lou raid La Tarasque's Castle for supplies while Laurent plays with the other kids and Isabelle and Sylvie tend to the ailing DuBois.

Gaines is devoured by the walkers while Daryl is rescued by Lou, Hérisson and Moof. Daryl reunites with Fallou, Sylvie and Emile, but gets trapped behind a grate while trying to reach Isabelle and Laurent. With a zombified Quinn attacking Isabelle, Laurent axes his father in the head at Daryl's encouragement, saving Isabelle's life.
After escaping from Maison Mère, Fallou and Emile go their separate ways while the rest of the group continues on towards the Nest in a stolen vehicle. However, they are waylaid by Guerriers led by Capo and Stéphane Codron. After being ordered to kill Laurent, Stéphane turns on his fellow Guerriers and kills them, unwilling to harm a child. Stéphane departs peacefully, promising to get his revenge on Daryl at another time and directing the group to destroy their vehicle as it makes them too easy to track.
Daryl's group continues on and finally reaches the Nest where Isabelle's injuries are treated. While the rest of the group settles into life at the Nest, Daryl finds himself torn between remaining with the family that he had been building in France and the friends that he had been left behind in America. Although Losang acknowledges that the Union of Hope could use Daryl's help, he arranges passage for Daryl that will allow him to begin a return to America. Daryl ultimately chooses to depart, but Laurent follows him to Omaha Beach, leaving Daryl torn between helping the boy as a herd approaches him or boarding the boat.
Season 2[]
"La Gentillesse Des Étrangers"[]
It's revealed that Daryl had chosen to save Laurent on Omaha Beach and returned with him to the Nest where Daryl is staying for the time being until Losang can find him a new way home.
"Moulin Rouge"[]
After Laurent is kidnapped, Daryl, Isabelle, Fallou, Emile and a team of Union of Hope soldiers lead a rescue mission for the boy. After they're gone, Sylvie discovers that the kidnapping was just a ruse by Losang in order to get rid of Daryl whom he sees as a threat to his plans.
At a mill, Emile and the Union soldiers turn on Daryl's group and try to kill them on the orders of Jacinta. However, the group kills all of their attackers and confronts Emile. Traumatized by his imprisonment by the Power of the Living, Emile reveals that Losang intends to have Laurent publicly bitten to test his potential immunity to the Wildfire Virus which will affirm and reward everyone's faith in the boy. After Emile tries to kill Daryl, he is disarmed by Fallou and killed by Isabelle for his treachery.
The reformed group subsequently returns to the Nest to rescue Sylvie and Laurent, but must wait for low tide before they can cross to the island.
"L'Invisible"[]
As the Union of Hope prepares for the ceremony, Sylvie escapes and attempts to find Laurent and warn everyone about Losang's intentions. However, she accidentally falls to her death in the attempt.
Daryl, Isabelle and Fallou climb the outer wall of the Nest and sneak into the ceremony where Losang tries to have a drugged Laurent bitten by the zombified Sylvie in front of a large crowd. Daryl shoots Sylvie in the head with an arrow, putting her down, and sends Isabelle and Fallou to escape with the boy while he creates a distraction. Daryl fights his way through the Nest, killing a number of Union soldiers before finally being caught. Although Laurent and Fallou manage to escape, Isabelle is eventually caught too. After waiting at the cave where Daryl and Laurent had trained for a day, Laurent and Fallou decide to head for Paris, believing that their friends will find them there if they manage to escape.
Imprisoned by Losang, Daryl and Isabelle are tortured for information on Laurent's location without success before Losang decides to take Isabelle and attempt to reason with her.
"Le Paradis Pour Toi"[]
Isabelle is taken by Losang for interrogation, only to be fatally stabbed by him after she slashes Losang across the face. As the Battle of the Nest rages, Isabelle is rescued from an Amper by Carol Peletier who has come to France in search of Daryl. Isabelle helps Carol to find Daryl amidst the chaos as Daryl convinces a frightened young man to release him. However, Isabelle dies in Daryl's arms after asking him to look after Laurent for her. Daryl and Carol escape from the Nest as it falls and the Power of the Living takes control of it.
The pair find Daryl's Cave abandoned and attempt to follow Laurent and Fallou's trail to Paris. Their search leads Daryl and Carol to Theo and Didi who had helped Laurent and Fallou and supplied them with a car to drive to Paris. Theo aids Daryl in repairing a car to drive to Paris with.
Before Daryl and Carol can depart, Theo betrays them to Genet, leading to a skirmish at Theo's Plantation. In the end, Carol kills Genet, although Didi is also killed. Daryl and Carol then set out for Paris in Theo's car after helping him to bury Didi.
