Daryl's Morning Star is a club-like weapon with a spiked ball on the end that is used by Daryl Dixon.
Post-Apocalypse[]

During the defense of the Hilltop from the Whisperers' horde, Daryl Dixon arms himself with a morning star. Daryl uses the morning star to great effect against the walkers and the Whisperers, but the Hilltop is eventually destroyed.
Months later, Daryl carries his morning star on a supply run and he uses it against walkers in a subway tunnel.
While selecting his weapon for his advanced military training, Sebastian Milton grabs and swings around a morning star before accidentally dropping it. Daryl tries to give him advice on how to use it, but Sebastian just calls it pathetic and something that belongs on a wall. After Sebastian leaves, Daryl picks the morning star and puts it away.
Following the split between the Coalition and the Commonwealth, Daryl's morning star is one of the weapons that he packs into two bags.
Daryl Series[]
A morning star is one of the weapons that Daryl selects from the Abbey of Saint Bernadette's armory, although it's much smaller and more handheld than the one that Daryl had previously used. He later uses it to disarm Philippe Poulin, to fight the herd in the moat of La Tarasque's Castle and to trip Stéphane Codron.
After being captured by the Capo and his men, Daryl's morning star is taken from him. Daryl later retrieves it from the backseat of the Capo's jeep and uses it to fight through a herd on Omaha Beach.
When Daryl is imprisoned at the Nest, his morning star is left lying on a table outside of the jail area alongside his knife. Daryl retrieves it when he's released during the Battle of the Nest, fighting his way through several Union soldiers and Power of the Living Guerriers to Carol.
During his fight with Losang, Daryl arms himself with his knife and his morning star while Losang uses his staff. However, Losang is ultimately able to disarm Daryl. After killing Losang, Daryl retrieves his dropped weapons.

Trivia[]
- Despite being called such, the morning star is actually a flail, not a morning star.
- Daryl appears to have adopted it as one of his primary weapons in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, replacing his lost crossbow.
