David's ex-wife is an original and unnamed character seen in a photograph in "Above The Law" of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season Three.
Pre-Apocalypse
Baltimore, Maryland
Almost nothing is known about this woman's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she married David and had two children, Gabriel and Mariana and lived in Baltimore, Maryland.
At some point, David and this woman divorced, while David was given the custody of their two children.
Post-Apocalypse
Season 3
"Above The Law"
This woman's photo can be seen inside of the García's home as Javier and Kate debate on whether or not to abandon the home.
It is unknown what happened to this woman after the outbreak began, leaving her with an unknown fate.
Relationships
Mariana García
Nothing much is known about their relationship before the outbreak began, other than Mariana mentioned how her mother used to tell her a story to which she thought it was so funny and Mari thought it was so dumb. So it can be assumed they shared a good mother-daughter relationship.
Trivia
- Originally this character model was to be used for Kate Garcia before it was changed during development. This can be seen from a banner of "Ties That Bind - Part 1" when it was in development. During this period of development, Kate's original name was intended to be Grace. [1]
- While she appears in a photograph it hasn't been confirmed by Telltale Games if she's indeed David's ex-wife or if the photograph is from earlier development periods where Kate was still identified as Grace.
