David is a survivor of the outbreak in Overkill's The Walking Dead. He is the deuteragonist of the "Maya Trailer".
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Nothing is known about David's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he worked as a surgeon in Washington D.C. and he was engaged to Maya Evans.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Season 0[]
"Maya Trailer"[]
At the beginning of the outbreak, many walker victims were being brought into the hospital and in the chaos one of his patients died and reanimated, soon after he was put down by either David or his fiancée Maya. At some point a small swarm of reanimated hospital staff and patients burst into the room, David and Maya fought them off however he was bitten on the neck in the process. A tearful Maya shoots him in the head at his request to ensure he doesn't reanimate.

Whilst fighting walkers David is fatally bitten on the neck. He and his fiancée Maya decided to wait and later that night the fever set in. Knowing that he will die, he tells Maya to put him down. He holds her hand so the gun is pointing to his head and waits for her to shoot.
