It's over, it's all over! I'm sick of living like this! (...) No! You don't know! I'm from the Fuel Depot. They're coming! They're coming to kill everyone and take the town! Well, they aren't killing me! This I can control.
―David attempting to commit suicide.[src]

David is an original character from The Walking Dead: Road to Survival.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Location Unknown[]

Nothing is known about David's life prior to or as the outbreak began.

Post-Apocalypse[]

Woodbury Gates[]

David suddenly appears at the entrance of Woodbury after The Governor has taken over, warning the survivors about an imminent attack from the Fuel Depot survivors. He then points a gun to his own head, intending to kill himself.

The group tries to save him but The Governor insists that if he actually wants to, they should let him do it. The Hero Player has a choice to make.

Save David (Unknown)

The Hero Player stops David from killing himself, and he is never seen again in the game.

However, after the "Scavenger Camp" feature is added to the game, several mission logs mention someone named "David" as part of the scavenging team. It is unknown if these two characters are the same David.

Let David kill himself (Dead)

David shoots himself in the head.
