David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is an American television writer and producer who serves as a writer of AMC's The Walking Dead. He also voiced the radio announcer in "Here's Negan".
Biography[]
Johnson attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and Cinema. He began his career as a production assistant on Frank Darabont's The Shawshank Redemption.
He then spent the next five years as Darabont's assistant, using the opportunity to hone his craft as a screenwriter. Currently, he lives in Burbank, California, with his wife, screenwriter Kimberly Lofstrom Johnson, and their son, Samuel.
