Approximately 15 years into the apocalypse, an injured man named Davon was found by sisters Amanda and Nora in the woods and taken to Madawaska for medical care. After seven weeks of living in their family's home, he discovered two young boys locked up in the basement, one dead. Upon freeing the surviving boy, Nora's son, a sudden altercation with Amanda ensued, resulting in her death and Davon being knocked out by Arnaud, Amanda's son and the mastermind behind the kidnapping and murder of several children. While Davon was nearly executed after being accused of murder, he was cleared once Arnaud was exposed for his atrocities and subsequently killed by the townspeople. After the chaotic and traumatic experience in the secluded settlement, Davon soon departed Madawaska and resumed his journey to Montreal in Canada.

  • The original plot summary for the episode was as follows: Within the walls of a protected community in Madawaska, Maine, an outsider named Davon (Jessie T. Usher) suddenly wakes up with no memory of how he got there. With blood on his hands, Davon must piece together flashes of his life while being hunted by the French-speaking locals seeking justice to a murder Davon does not remember, let alone believes he could have committed.
  • Amongst Davon's possessions is a keycard reading "PPP" that is identical to the one found at the scene of Heath's disappearance in "Swear".
  • This is the third Tales episode to feature a reference or direct appearance of an entity from another TV universe medium.
