He'll live.
―Martinez to the Governor about Gorman.[src]

Dean Gorman is a character that appears in The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury. He is described as a young redneck farm kid, dressed in torn denim and sporting heavy-metal tattoos.

Pre-Apocalypse

Augusta, Georgia

Almost nothing is known about Dean's life before or as the outbreak began, except that he was from Augusta, Georgia.

Post-Apocalypse

Woodbury, Georgia

One day in Woodbury, Johnny Pruitt criticized the Augusta State Jaguar's football team. This angered Dean and a fight ensued. Martinez arrived and tried to stop it, but they wouldn't listen. Dean had the advantage in the beginning of the fight, jamming his steel-toed boots into Johnny's sides. Pruitt gained the upper hand when he kneed Dean in the groin. He then continued to punch Dean in the face repeatedly. Martinez once again attempted to interrupt it, but Brian, seeing how the crowd was entertained by the fight, told him to wait. By this time, Johnny had started to strangle Dean and wouldn't let go. This made the crowd of bystanders very excited. Dean's eyes soon begin to roll back in his head and he collapsed. The Governor then told Martinez to break it up and he does. Martinez later informs Brian that Dean will live. Their fight then inspires The Governor to create the arena, with the National Guardsman as the fighters.

Death

Killed By

If Dean was involved in the war between Woodbury and The Prison, he was either killed by the prison defenders in the first or second assault, or devoured by the walkers that overran the prison.
