He mumbles something and the major, somewhat racist, tells him to speak up. He says that he is tired of being pushed around by the major. He is told to sit down and he does so. Eventually, he is heard getting out of his seat and seen walking toward the exit. Gavin draws his gun and fires at the back of Detroit's head and kills him. Brian, after Detroit's death stands frozen against the side of the vending machine where Detroit's blood seeps under the soles of his shoes.
