"Divine Providence" is the fourteenth episode of the seventh season of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. It is the ninety-ninth episode of the series overall. It premiered on May 22, 2022. It was written by Alex Delyle & David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and directed by Ed Ornelas.

Episode Highlights

  • After Alicia arrives at the Tower, Strand invites her in to talk and then has his men lead the herd from the crater to kill Alicia's army while trapping Alicia inside of the Tower.
  • After Alicia reveals that she's dying, Strand decides to make a deal with Alicia to save her friends, causing Wes to mutiny against him alongside the Tower's Rangers.
  • Due to Luciana lying to him that Ofelia is inside of the Tower, Daniel accompanies Alicia inside and, after breaking free, works with Strand and Alicia in exchange for being led to Ofelia.
  • Alicia, Strand and Charlie help Daniel to snap out of his fugue state and recognize that Ofelia truly is gone, instead focusing on helping Charlie, whom he cares about for the little time that she has left which is believed to only be a couple of weeks at most.
