Dominic Hawthorne is a character in Telltale's The Walking Dead: Michonne. He is also mentioned in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is the ex-husband of Michonne Hawthorne and father of Colette and Elodie Hawthorne.
Pre-Apocalypse[]

Little is known about Dominic's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that he was once married to Michonne Hawthorne, with whom he had two daughters with and lived in a apartment.
When they divorced, Dominic maintained custody of their children. As Michonne moved out, the two girls begged their mother to stay, but Dominic insisted Michonne leave, despite her pleas to have a minute to say goodbye.
Post-Apocalypse[]
When the outbreak first began, Michonne hurried to Dominic's home to get her daughters. However, when she got there, her daughters and Dominic were all gone. Michonne assumed all three were dead, as she claimed that Dominic "couldn't even use a screwdriver", implying that he was unfit for what the world would become and that they wouldn't have been able to survive.

"Give No Shelter"[]
Dominic is mentioned briefly by Michonne and Donna if the former chooses to answer the phone first during a flashback. Donna will mention that Dominic contacted her on the phone a short while earlier and sounded very panicked. The full story of what likely happened can be pieced together using different options within the same dialogue tree. Dominic had apparently attempted to help one of his neighbors who had been bitten, which would explain the used bandages found by Michonne left behind. The neighbor presumably turned and Dominic defended himself using a kitchen knife, seen by a bloodied knife found on the kitchen floor. He was assumed dead by Donna, but no trace of him or his daughters' whereabouts could be found by Michonne in his apartment.
"What We Deserve"[]
Dominic appears in a flashback chronologically before the one in the previous episode. He is shown standing by as Michonne says goodbye to their two daughters following their divorce settlement. He tells the girls to let their mother go if that is what she wants, but Michonne tells him to give her a minute to say goodbye.
New World Order[]
Michonne reunites with her long lost daughter, Elodie, who tells her about how Dominic tried to protect her and her sister and how he, at some point, died by circumstances not revealed.
