“ | This is Madame DuBois. She's our parents and our nurse. Teach us everything. Then she got sick. (…) Six months. Yeah, we, um-- we read to her, and we sing. And everyday, we recite a prayer from Isaiah. For the sick and dying. Oui, but not dying. Prayers will be answered.

Madame DuBois (first name unknown) is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Overview[]
Madame DuBois was a caring woman who took care of and taught the young children at the preschool how to survive since the start of the outbreak. Lou referred to her as being both a teacher and a parent to the children and she was considered to be very beloved by her charges who were absolutely devastated by her loss.

Post-Apocalypse[]
In the early days of the outbreak, she stayed behind with the children of École Maternelle Simone Veil, and taught them skills on how to survive, and taking care of them like her own. She would also take in orphans when they would find them.

"Alouette"[]

- While she was not credited as a co-star, she was credited via the AMC Press Center as Headmistress DuBois.
- She plays a similar role to Ms. Martin in the Final Season of the Telltale Series in that both were beloved teachers who looked after their students alone following the start of the zombie apocalypse.
- Ms. Martin was also the nurse of Ericson's Boarding School and Lou states that Madame DuBois acted as the children's nurse as well as their teacher and parent.
