“ | Way I see it, we've already been through hell and back, what we see, what we done, makes all this look like a walk in the park. (...) Having you to look after, having you looking after me, keeps me going. Gets me up in the morning and for that I am grateful.

Overview[]
Earl is a light-hearted, kind, humble, and well-mannered man. He and C.J. had met up and grew a bond together. C.J. states that she doesn't know where she'd be if not for Earl. Earl and C.J. always look out for each other. It's revealed that Earl served in the Vietnam War, often having to crawl through tunnels, showing that he was fighting before the apocalypse and even states how the snakes underground sounded like walkers.
