Barely anything is known about Elmer's life prior to or as the outbreak began. He was employed at the Walmart on the outskirts of Woodbury.
Elmer's body was found by Joshua Lee Hamilton and Lilly Caul when they first entered the Walmart. His head was decapitated, sitting in a pool of his own dried blood described as being black as obsidian. Seeing his corpse bothered Lilly very much. She stated that she felt sorry for him, and later asked her companions if they could clean up his and the other employees bodies.
- Killed By
Lilly and Josh discover Elmer's body inside of the Walmart in which he formerly was employed. It is unknown who killed him, or if he was killed to prevent reanimation.
