Nothing is known about Elodie's Treats prior to the outbreak.
Post-Apocalypse[]
At some point in the apocalypse, this building was inducted into the Commonwealth, serving as a bakery for the community. The business is run by a man named Charles.
Yumiko enters Elodie's Treats and tells Charles that she’s looking for someone. Tomi enters from a back room holding a cake. Yumiko greets him and he drops the cake, shocked to see his sister.
As Carol grabs some food from the bakery kitchen, Ezekiel walks in behind her and she greets him, saying she recognized his footsteps. Ezekiel jests that she knows him too well, and offers her some medical supplies to take with her back to Alexandria, which Carol thanks him for. When Carol turns around to finish taking the food for herself and the others who are leaving, a small clatter is heard. When Ezekiel doesn't respond, Carol turns around to find him suddenly missing.
Two Commonwealth government agents enter from a side door and attempt to apprehend her. Carol manages to hold them off by throwing a baking cart in their way, striking one of them in the neck with a sheet pan, and hitting the other across the face with a rolling pin. She escapes out the back, blocking the door with another cart, before running from the building.
The name of this location is a reference to Elodie, Michonne's daughter in the Comic Series, who reunited with Michonne in a bakery at the Commonwealth.
