Russell and Martha are dead, aren't they?
―Erin to her mother.[src]

Erin Twomey is a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is a resident of the Broke Jaw Ranch community, alongside her mother.

Overview[]

Despite her young age, Erin seems to be a rather cold and cynical girl. As she and many other residents watch the Browns' house burn down, she states that Russell and Martha are probably dead in a rather emotionless way, which is in contrast to her mother, who is crying at their deaths.

Pre-Apocalypse[]

Location Unknown[]

Nothing is known about Erin's life prior to or as the outbreak began, except that she had a mother and another parent.

Post-Apocalypse[]

Season 3[]

"Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame"[]

Erin is standing with Mrs. Twomey and other horrified residents as they watch the Browns' cabin burn. Erin turns to the woman and states that Russell and Martha are probably dead, before staring at Madison.

"Minotaur"[]

Erin and her mother are present at the front gate with the other townspeople when the Black Hat Natives arrive to move onto the ranch. At night, Erin is in her camper with her mother when Cooper and Klah knock on the door, asking for any weapons being stored inside.

"The Diviner"[]

Erin is in line with her mother waiting for water from the main well when Ofelia offers her a glass of water, to which she knocks it to the ground. Mrs. Twomey brings an upset Erin closer to her and tells her that "It will be okay, sweetie". The next day, Erin and her mother are talking to Alicia at the well when a fight breaks out. As Nick makes a stand and refuses to back down from the well, Erin walks up to Nick with her mother, joining his stand.

"This Land Is Your Land"[]

Erin is among the ranchers to evacuate to the underground pantry. She can be seen being comforted by another girl as she mourns the loss of her mother. As Alicia explains the air supply situation to the survivors in the pantry, Erin listens from the crowd while standing with an older woman. Later, Erin is among the survivors to pass out due to the lack of air and eventually dies or is killed by the reanimated residents.

Death[]

Killed By

Troy secretly redirects a massive horde of walkers towards the ranch. When the horde gets to the ranch and attack everyone, the remaining survivors enter the pantry.

Either Erin dies from suffocation or she is devoured by the reanimated residents. While not confirmed, it is possible she reanimated and was among the infected shot by the survivors off-screen after rescuing Alicia.

Trivia[]

  • In "The Diviner", during the scene where the ranchers and Natives clash at the well, when Lee fires a warning shot in the air and everyone turns to look at him, the actresses who portray Erin and Mrs. Twomey can be seen running in the background towards their mark on set for the next shot in the scene, where they stand by Nick’s side in protest.
