Aftermath
Following the destruction of the stadium, everyone except for Alicia, Nick, Strand and Luciana are believed to be dead. The stadium itself proves to be so dangerous that the Vultures don't venture inside to raid it, instead only scavenging around the outside. Alicia, Nick, Strand and Luciana go on to hunt down the Vultures in revenge, killing the entire group except for Charlie and June who had joined the Vultures after they found her on the side of the road and June thought that she had nowhere else to go.
Years later, Alicia encounters Cole again and he reveals that most if not all of the stadium residents had actually survived, having managed to escape thanks to Madison's actions. However, after being ambushed by another group weeks later, Cole, Douglas, Vivian and the others became bandits, robbing and killing other survivors for supplies. During a confrontation with Alicia, Teddy Maddox and Dakota, Cole's group was wiped out, mainly by their own reanimated victims.
It's later discovered that Madison had survived as well, was taken to PADRE and had been forced to become a Collector for them. Ben Krennick eventually reveals that Madison had taken cover from the stadium's destruction inside of the water truck - parked close to the gate by Douglas to try to put out the fire that the Vultures had started outside - and she was then found and rescued by Ben and his sister who had heard Madison's last message on the radio. However, the smoke from the fire had permanently damaged Madison's lungs, requiring Madison to occasionally use an oxygen tank to help her breathe.

Trivia
- The Vultures used over 3,000 walkers to attack the stadium. The flags that Victor Strand and Cole recovered from the Oil Tanks are labeled 457, 583, 233, 619, 378 and 765. This means that 3,035 walkers were imprisoned in the tanks total. However, several were put down by Madison and June in "Another Day in the Diamond" while trapped inside of one of the tanks.
